Why should I wait for the stars to fall when I can fall with them?

Eioko laughed and dropped another water sack on an unexpecting man that walked past the house. She backed away before the victim could see her and laughed more when he yelled angrly at nothing. Making the shoppers think he was insane.
She leaned back to the edge when the man walked away and looked around for someone else to throw a water sack at. A harsh wind suddenly picked up and would've knocked her off the roof if she hadn't grabbed hold of it edge. A few of the shoppers in the marketplace and peasents had fallen down and were now climbing back to their feet.
The eerie noise of and old ship could be heard above them. She glanced upward and stared at the ships belly. Marking and symbols had been carved into the wood. They were blood read and looked like they had just been painted on.
The ship turned past the clocktower and headed toward the castle. The few peasents that had watched the ship shrugged their shoulders and went back to doing whatever they had been doing before.
Curious, Eioko jumped down from the roof and followed after the ship. Wanting to see why it was heading to the castle.

Jade Storm was walking through the market place when she had seen the ship pass. Also curious she followed the ship. She pushed her way through the large crowd until she was away from everybody. The Large crowd made her fall behind. She began to run after the ship just for fun and out of curiosity. She turned the corner and unexpectedly ran into Eioko.
Jade fell backwards on her rear and held her head in her hands. She began shaking the pain away, and then looked up. Eioko was on her back and didn't fell like moving.
"Sorry about that!" Jade said. She grabed Eioko's hand and helped her up.

"Thanks." Eioko said releasing the girl's hand. She started to laugh thinking it was funny that they ran into each other.
"Were you following the ship to?" She asked.

She brushed the rest of the dirt off of her. "I following the ship to where ever it leads to I guess. It looks like it's heading towards the castle!" Jade replied. "I wonder if they're pirates!" She said jokingly!

"That ship seem a little suspicious to me." Said voice from nowhere as a girl appeared. "I'm Metroia. You are?" She said it almost as if she were bored.

"Well to be honest.. it's only a suspision. I've heard rumors or pirates coming about. I've also heard that the royal family is having a bit of a shindig... But again I say they are only rumors. I don't like it.I'm going to investighate it... since you two are so crious about it.. how about a bit of a quest?" Metoria pulled her hood over her head and looked at the pair with her bloody red eyes. They seemed to have no emotion in them.

In the shadows under the eaves of a nearby storefront, a small figure watched them go. Timon shook his head. All the lovely ladies... But they were so silly and indirect, not to mention the one who seemed to be trying to turn into a vampire.
He flicked his tail cheerfully, concealed though it was by his too-long coat. Vampirism could be arranged, but now for more interesting things.
Smiling, he pulled his mask over his face. Illegality was afoot... and he wanted to be in on it.
He oozed over the gutter and onto the roof, where he commenced a stealthy run, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. If he gaged it just right...
He reached the roof of the docktower just as the ship went past, took a minute to calculate, then jumped nimbly onto one of the dock supports, then from there into the water. Within moments he had one of the trailing lines in his furry palms, and he commenced to climb it.
He smiled as he pulled himself swiftly up the rope. The girls had said it might be a pirate ship. He hoped so. They tended to have not only gold, but also rum. Ah... beautiful rum!
He finally reached the ship's rail, where he paused to take a quick peek over the side. He grinned broadly. This was going to be FUN.
